X-Ray
General X-ray studies use a small amount of radiation to produce images of the bones inside the body. The most common use of an X-ray is to assist in identifying and treating bone fractures. Bone X-rays are an essential tool in orthopedic surgery such as spinal repair, joint replacements, or fracture reductions, and can also be used to diagnose and monitor the progression of degenerative diseases such as arthritis.
