Billing and Insurance

Diagnostic Imaging of Southbury participates with many insurance plans. Please call your insurance company, at the telephone number provided on your benefit card, to verify that Diagnostic Imaging of Southbury participates with your plan, to find out if your plan requires a pre-certification or referral for radiology procedures, or to obtain authorization to receive care from us as an “out of network provider”. Your payment options
You have a number of options when making a payment to Diagnostic Imaging of Southbury, and we are willing to work with you to find an option that suits your needs.

  • Bill Pay Online.
  • Credit Card. – As an added convenience you can pay the balance of charges due after insurance payments with your credit card. You may authorize this in advance, or call the billing office directly when you receive your statement. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
  • Self pay. – If you do not have insurance, we will offer a “time-of-service” discount. However, in order to receive this discount the entire amount must be paid on the day of your procedure.
  • Payment plans. – Call our billing office at (203) 264-7999 to speak to a patient account representative. We can set up a payment plan to meet your needs.
